Red and Blue remake1

Hold onto you hats Pokemon fans, because exactly 20 years after the Japanese release of the first Pokemon games, Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow will be available for download for the virtual console.

Nintendo revealed recently that on February 27, 2016, the 20th anniversary of the release of Pokemon Red and Green in Japan, that they will release the original games into the 3DS market.

The games are slated to be the exact same as their beautiful 8-bit originals, except that you can now trade wireless with other 3DS Pokemon players, removing the necessity for those obnoxious trading cables.

"Ok, now move yours up slightly...is it working? No, ok, lets try spinning around a tree while spitting on the ground, that worked last time!"
